Hi! As it is not really difficult to guess from the title of this letter, I wanna tell you about the show we visited yesterday. This time we had a mini team consisting of only two members - Myself and Shurik. But these two are special two and in this situation were worth a bunch of some brainless idiots like... OK, let's not point our fingers at somebody in particular, but anyway. Show was set to start at 9.00, but we came there early ( I think it was something like 8.45-8.50 ) and thus were able to find available seats. We also got a free tape at the entrance to the club. After several moments I finally realized that it was some kind of promo package from the band called Human Disorder, which is a local band ( I just found out they are actually from Canada ) that had to play first. We were expecting some delays as usual, especially considering the size of the crowd which was inside the club ( and you could not call it huge by any means ), but ( surprise, surprise!!! ) this time around they started when they had to, in other words, at 9.00. Well, what can you expect from a local band ( OK, they ARE from Canada, but they still suck! ) except bottom-end generic sound, rapcore and a lot of screaming? That was exactly what we got from Human Disorder. I have not listened to their tape yet, but their live show was very boring and annoying. We could hardly sit through their ridiculous set and Shurik almost fell asleep. By the way, he was so disappointed with them that he threw away his tape through the window of my car on our way back home ( fortunately, it was 1.00 in the morning and no one could see him doing that, ha-ha! ). Next up was Destiny's End which is a new band that recently released their debut album on Metal Blade.

First, it seemed like a
pretty uninteresting music and I even started to think that the evening
was spoiled ( remember "total disaster" presented by the first band ),
but fortunately towards the end of their set they started to show some
signs of life. They ended with an awesome cover of Judas Priest "Living
After Midnight" with the whole crowd involved in a sing-along and as a
result things did not seem to be that terrible anymore. All in all, their
part of the show was OK.
Now the atmosphere began to heat up a little bit and the crowd was
getting bigger and bigger with every minute. It was time for the band
that the majority of people, including us, came here to see, namely Iced
Earth.
